Added this ESL 42 to my collection last year. The tab is what makes the buckle unique. I have seen this type buckle matched up with a web belt that has metal fittings.

Nice buckle Kirby, I have been after one of these for a while, a nice matching set would be nice, I have seen a few for sale over the years

Hello I have in my collection two Trop Heer buckles with this variant web tab, a ESL 41 and a B Haarmann, also I have a matching "Italian type" web belt
I wll post the belt and Haarmann buckle pics, I will post the ESL 41 buckle pics soon

If these are really Italian made. I wonder if they just bought buckles from a couple of German manufactures and added the tabs and belts.
