Gwar is correct; this is a classic 'pigeon head' fake. As stated, study genuine and fake buckles, and most fakes will be very obvious soon.

Thanks - I always post before buying

I collect mainly German and Hungarian field-gear, documents...and in the last year or so; cold war stuff (mostly Hungarian - some NVA and CCCP bits and pieces)

Fabe, as the lads have stated the buckle is a pigeon head fake, if you are going to start collecting buckles have a good read of the fixed threads here mate and dont be afraid to post pics of buckles before you buy until you are confident with what you are buying, good hunting

Happens to us all, as mentioned read up in here and don't be afraid to ask... Better to ask before purchase than get that sinking feeling after purchase...
