Here are several buckles and I'm thinking about purchasing one for my Heer display but i wanted to get an opinion on them first. I've never bought anything from this dealer before but he says i can return them if i suspect them to be fake. I have a good feeling about both steel ones its the aluminum one i'm worried about. As of now my bayonet & frog are 1938, my canteen 1940, and my K98 1939 so to keep it original did they use more steel buckles or aluminum buckles early in the war?

    Thanks,
    Brandon

Nice buckles....all original! Funny that we sometimes see our "old" pieces resurface in other collections! It happens....Cheers!

I was leaning toward getting to bottom one because it has the perfect amount of wear on it but I like how clean the back of the second one is. hummm I'm still undecided
