I believe that it is another 'pigeon head' fake! Also, it's a Heer (army) buckle and not SS.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Just moved your thread to the Heer thread as the buckle is Heer and not SS In ref to the buckle it is indeed a common fake known as a pigeon head fake. if you look in the fake Heer thread you find many in there dressed up as different makers, aged with acid/chemicals etc
