Recent purchase - Gustav Brehmer buckle and web tab - first type in my collection. No paint on front; rear has green paint, GB mark and a faint 41. (red is reflection).

nice web tabbed buckle from Brehmer . Take a look on the back under the prong , there you must find a 41 or 42

A nice addition to any collection. Here is a GB I got at the 12 SOS. This buckle has a lot more paint but the detail of the eagle is nearly as good. I think someone might have removed the paint from the front of your buckle. I can't see all the paint being worn off and the eagle being that nice. Either way it is a good looking buckle.
