Heer belt buckle: real or fake?

can some one please tell me if my belt buckel is real or fake

Can any member help Klinger with the Wehrmacht-Heer buckle that he has shown? I am a little out of touch with the current grade of cast alloy, fake Army buckles.

Looks like a cast fake to me, have you got a close up of the prongs?

I agree, most probably a cast fake.

Is it possible to provide us with measurements of the buckle (metric preferred)?

I've got one that looks almost identical, dimensions are 64mm wide x 49mm high. Definitely cast alloy, looks like aluminium.
What do you think...real or fake?
