unfortunately I don't have any pics of the reverse.

Hard to tell with it all rolled up pics of back would help to tell the story.

The eagle looks like a Hermann Aurich. Please can we see some pics of the back of the buckle.

I agree that pics of the back would confirm its authenticity - I think given the pics that it's a good one....but I wouldn't buy it until I saw pics of the back!

The buckle is fine and is indeed by Hermann Aurich

I bought the belt and it arrived today. You guys were right, it says H. Aurich 1940 on the leather tab.

I'll try to post some pics tomarrow.

Nice one. 1940 is a nice early date for a steel buckle.

I know the site where you got this from - he's got great stuff for great prices, and I've never had a problem with his items. He's pretty good about spotting fakes...
