    Hi gents.

I havent got a clue what to look for when it comes to ensuring that a belt buckle is the "real deal".
Stumbled across this one a few min ago and want to put in a bid for it as the sale will close within an hour.
But I wont do that before hearing from some pros first!
The bid is currently at $17 so I'm guessing Its a nice deal if I manage to get it for that or even a bit higher.

I believe this is a 'pigeon head' fake, but please wait for the more experienced collectors to tell you for sure.

Has anyone ever seen a 1940 date like that on a WM buckle? I haven't, and would suggest you buy it as a fake.

A member named Markus has the original version of this buckle, and it can be seen here.

When seeing them both next to each other I see the differences between them.
