Default Heer buckle with double stamp

Recently saw a thread started regarding a polizei buckle that was double stamped by two different makers. Interesting for sure....
It made me want to share one of my Heer buckles that is also double stamped....but from the same maker (Gebr. Schneider)

What is interesting with this one is that one stamp is dated 1940, the other is dated a full two years later (1942). Old stock that they decided to use on new buckles perhaps?

The buckle itself is also neat: it is a mouse-grey colour. It is always interesting to see the different colours used on heer buckles. It came paired with a 1941 dated belt.

    Here are some pics.....Cheers everyone!
