Heer officers buckle?

Hey guys, buckles are not my area of expertise at all....... so, opinions? Looks like a Heer or Political buckle without the finnish? Is this real or a fake? Thanks guys!!!!!

it is a political leader .

It was gild finished , but the surface has patinated .

Is it Aluminium or Zinc ?

It looks like zinc from the pics. In the process of possibly buying........ I know buckles with like 90% or better gilt,are $125+/- ......any ideas on this condition? Also,will this clean back up ??? I think the gilt is gone????

It won't get any better by cleaning it. The hook looks cracked as is the loop holding the keeper. I recommend looking for a better one, they are not rare or that expensive with one side missing.
