Great addition. I bet a lot of collectors have passed on these because of the RZM. Harder to find than the Heer but you can also find Luftwaffe and kriegsmarine with the same markings.

I bought an M4/44 with RZM today after seeing this thread. I was at a local antiques show and put it back because I was not sure about the RZM mark (and I have many Heer buckles already in collection). But I checked the forum today and learned about this variation so I went back this am and bought it. Thanks (even though I heard "not another buckle....." from the wife).
