Heer Steel Buckle - D&C 194?

Got this today. Interesting to note that the buckle was painted 3 times. First silver, then green (Field grey I presume) and then a lighter shade, which could be dark yellow? Opinions most welcome, thank you.

Tom, very nice buckle actually, hard to get hold of believe it or not steel Dransfleld buckle are hard to come by, I would say the buckle was green initially, I have posted one for reference
