    The buckle and the leather tab are originals but I have never seen
    A silver painted one, repainted?

    I a with Ivan, original buckle and known maker, as to the silver paint never seen one. Is there any other colour under the silver?

    That one is a late war Overhoff made buckle like this, not a J C Maedicke, I will never say never but again I have never never seen a silver J C Maedicke made buckle

    Ben is right, the late war Overhoff Heer silver buckle is a common buckle, I have this silver Dr. Franke example, but I have never seen a silver Maedicke and as well with leather tab

    There is silver GB with the white web tab. I would never consider paying 160 euros for this buckle in this condition.

    I have never come across the Heer but there was a Luftwaffe at the 15 SOS. The deal was stuck at $1500 and wouldn't move.
