    Default Left facing buckles

Hey guys...A fellow member asked if I could post these two buckles. I have two left facing Heer buckles - left facing meaning that the eagle is looking to the viewers left. These buckle were only produced in '36 for a short period of time (January 1936 to March 1936). One is regular size and the other is the smaller 40mm private purchase buckle that is harder to find. What I like about this specific buckle is that it is the actual buckle posted on page 73 (bottom buckle) in John Angolia's second edition belt buckle reference so I'm quite happy to have it in the collection!

    Here are some pics!

First up is the regular size left facing example...

    Hi Rob,

I've heard or read (can't remember) that some of those lefties are made from nickel. Do you know if that's correct? What are yours made from?

    Regards,
