Left facing buckles

    Hey guys...A fellow member asked if I could post these two buckles. I have two left facing Heer buckles - left facing meaning that the eagle is looking to the viewers left. These buckle were only produced in '36 for a short period of time (January 1936 to March 1936). One is regular size and the other is the smaller 40mm private purchase buckle that is harder to find. What I like about this specific buckle is that it is the actual buckle posted on page 73 (bottom buckle) in John Angolia's second edition belt buckle reference so I'm quite happy to have it in the collection!

    Here's that 40mm buckle found in Angolia's reference....this is one of my favorite buckles!

    Merci Rob ! pour les posts J aimes beaucoup ces boucles ! elles sont vraiment speciales ! et surtout si peu produite a cause de la tete a gauche qui signifie le ratachement a L ÉTAT et non au parti (NSDAP) je croi que c etais mal vu ! MERCI !!!

    Hi Rob,

    I've heard or read (can't remember) that some of those lefties are made from nickel. Do you know if that's correct? What are yours made from?
