My latest addition Paulmann and Crone belt and buckle

Hi guys here's my latest addition to my collection a Paulmann and crone belt and buckle i hope you like it, you can still see the stamped tab but the Paulmann and crone has erased away but you can still see ludenscheid and the 1938 date can anybody tell me what the Gc stamped on the belt stands for
