my new Heer buckle

Just picked up this buckle and wanted any verdict on in. It wasn't expensive but looked quite good.

Not the best of photos but it looks like a pigeon head fake to me.

The buckle is indeed a Common "pigeon head" fake, these are sold on reenactment sites

I take it they are a common type of fake then,

Not to worry, Im sure im not the first and wont be the last.

The HJ badge Im not sure on. I bought these as a job lot so even if one turns out to be real I will be happy.

... Oh, OK, cool... I like the look of the HJ piece. Hope it all works out for yah. I don't know enough about these kinds of pieces to be of any help.
