the buckle is in my opinion a good CTD .

The belt appears in my eyes artificially aged.

It is defiantly not artificially aged, just dirty and a but rusty, I know where it has been for the last 40 years., you can smell the mould on the belt.

Let us see the leather tongue completely from the top and bottom.

I was sure it was OK as it was bought along with a box of the soldiers medals and bits and bobs including the belt, he was in the 8th army in North Africa and middle east, unfortunately there is a letter informing his wife he was missing in action, they must have sent all his stuff back to the UK unless he was taken as a prisoner and released.
I am not selling but would like to know what it is worth these days.
