    Hello Group,
    I recently got this belt buckle and am wondering if it is original. There is a maker's mark there that runs parallel with the catch but it is quite buried under the paint. All I can make out is C. T........... not even sure about the "T". As always, any help would be much appreciated!

    The buckle is original and it is marked 'C.T.D.' and a year (probably 1941).
    CTD stands for Christian Theodor Dicke of Lüdenschied.
