Right facing eagle early buckles

    Hi to All, these are mine RIGHT FACING BUCKLES :



    2 Early dress parade, one "usual" right facing buckle (NASH book pg 122) unmarked and one turnerbund early conversion (not so common) by Berg&Nolte

    Andrea, of note look at this conversion, the Tunnerbund buckle was originally by Hugo Schneider Liepzig, however the conversion was probably done by the same maker, look at both eagles. It would be nice to find out who did the conversions!

    Great buckles guys....I have a 40mm right facing example along with a reg. size 45mm....not Turn. conversion though (unfortunately).
    Here are my examples. First up is the harder to find 40mm example

    PS Adam,
    I've circled some "rear" area on your buckle, it could be possible that you can find some interesting marks of the producer(...it is possible not sure I mean :-D ) take a deeper look (also in UV or IR light range if you have the possibility)!Click image for larger version.
