Unknown German Buckle

Article about: I recently stumbled apon a bunker near a town in Vilseck, Germany. And found around 130 belt buckles. Here is a picture one of the belt buckle all were same design. I have no clue about this

    Hello mate and welcome to the forum, the buckle is an original Heer and from the size of the pin head it could have been made by the maker RODO, I will have a closer look and try and let you know

    Sorry I should have mentioned RODO is the maker Robert Dold Offenberg. I pressume all the buckles are by the same maker and in the same condition?

    Yes, some of the buckles are in bad shape but you can still make out the icon and lettering. I have helmets that are in really bad shape (weather erode and years) found in the same bunker.

    Have a look at this thread if you are new to buckles, it might give you a insight into buckles, also have a look through the M4 makers list thread, again alot of variation of buckles to look at, same goes really for all the fixed threads
