I have this leather coat and the one that sold it to me says it is luftwaffe, but I have also heard KriegsMarine ..
so I am interested in finding out if this is Luftwaffe or KM and is there maybe some that have a similar coat and can provide me with pictures .

Do ANY of the buttons have a design on them? Could you show them?

I will make some pictures, but have to do tomorrow, it is in my museum at the time.

Hi Rolf, I would go with Luftwaffe.

I think the KM mainly wore black.

mine is very similar tho with pebbled buttons. agree with ade I think mainly Luftwaffe, tho maybe w-ss and heer? sometime in pix the leather looks lighter than the usual dark gray or gray-green.
remember also that gnl. officers could wear just about any color (or coat) - and we see them even in CIVILIAN leather coats! (you know, the ones ebay hopefuls advertise as 'gestapo...')
nice coat anyway in fine shape!
