2 rear pocket officers trouser

I have a question are breeches with 2 rear pocktes always post war or also ww2? or private issue ?

All Officers breeches were private purchase. Officers had to buy all of their kit.

I am not sure what the regulations say about pockets. I think most had a single rear pocket.
