21 PD - Stug wrapper ...

Got this wrapper and sidecap direct from the vet. Sadly he had to remove all the insignia on the way back from US to France.

So i restored the wrapper back to its old glory as i promised the vet

The Division was build with soldiers who served in Afrika campain
therefore a lot of this soldiers have worn the Afrika cufftitles on their tunics.
His unit was the first which took action against the thommies at the Pegasus Bridge ...

It looks like a nice Feldjacke congrats...

All insignia had to be removed after the war, sadly for the Feldjacke itself, but not for its wearer...
The photo showing Rommel is dated May-June 1944, but it was taken in May while Rommel was inspecting the 21. Panzerdivision.
