Default 2nd Model Luft cap badge ??

    Hi,
This was given to me yesterday by a coworker.
His dad brought brought it back from ww2.

I don't really collect TR items so this is a bit out
    of my comfort zone.

Am I right in thinking this is a 2nd model Luft cap badge?

    Thanks,
    Greg

I think it's a second pattern - the first being the 'droop tail' ?

Below is what I've always known as the typical/standard
Luft eagle - third type ?

I can only offer photos of my two which I believe are early third pattern. One made by FCL and the other by H.W.-J.
I agree with first pattern being droop tails.
