Lightbulb 3 types of Feldbluse buttons

    Hi,

A while ago I found a small pit with a dozen buttons of various types including feldbluse buttons. Now there's different kind of feltbluse buttons here. Can anyone say to which uniform these buttons belong? This is what I think:

    1. Luftwaffe
    2. Wehrmacht
    3. RAD (reichsarbeitsdienst) or some other organisation. Ive found a few of these.

Got the answer from a different forum:
It al depends on the different makers. Of course different colors would never be worn on the same blouse.

    Hello,
IMO they can be all from the Heer...

    1) Feldblusen buttons were blue painted from 1943.
    2) Aluminium button that has lost its factory paint.
    3) Feldgrau button that looks more gray than green....with all these years...it looks Feldgrau on my monitor.
    Thanks

I don't think the middle one lost its paint. I've seen a lot of those and think it's a standard button. The right one is indeed feldgrau as you say. It has a grey email paint on it.
Here's the rest of the finds from one hole, it was the first ww2 find and it motivated to start collecting.

    Hello,
In the army, standard aluminium buttons were Feldgrau factory painted.
Usually the paint had a less good adherence on aluminium buttons than on steel ones.
    Thanks
