"Afrika" cuff title:fake?

I have a chance to purchase a small collection. All of the items look real to me except the Afrika band. I have heard their are a few different variations, but I came up empty while searching for one similiar to this. I posted pics of the whole collection just so you get an idea of the quality of the rest of the items that he had. Is this a rare variation or just an odd copy?

the double stamp luger does.... it's a 1914 dmw restamped 1920 before it was issued to police
the p-38 is a bfw 43 ....both are numbers matching and in good shape.

Agree, the Afrika cufftitle looks wrong, not a period original.

I am not keen on it either. These were not authorised to be made in bullion wire versions.

Yea.....thanks for the info. I was hoping I stumpled on a nice find. Everything else in his collection looked good except gor the band. I meant to post this pic instead of the 3rd one from the first post. You can see that it is a thick thread.
