Default Afrika Korps cuff title , good filler?.

    Hi Chaps

I am currently selling my original Afrika Korps cuff title at the moment on the classifieds , i have found another cuff title and wondered if it is a good one?. I have read Ade's thread and there doesn't seem to be this example on there. (Good Points) It isn't a tartan weave , the A & F are not touching and there is an oval circle not diamond or square shape to the rear of the 'O'. However the stitching looks slightly different to the rear and there is no stitch to the rear between the 'I' and the 'K' of Afrika so wondered if it was a genuine example?. (Pics below) Thanks in advance chaps.

(P.S do you think i have priced my original at a fair price at 95.00?.) I thought it is a good price?.

I have seen a few of this type and do not really know what to make of them, but I would not buy one as a period original until some evidence can be produced to support that assumption.

Price is about what they go for these days I think. Not really been looking to buy one since I bought mine many years back, so not really up on the going rate.

Another discussion over waf about this type. Members there consider it as an earlier type:

Check post #16. It's the same with this one. I call it the "curly" type

As I posted above, these have been seen for a number of years, but still no evidence has been produced to show them as a period original, just assumptions being made.
