Any ideas what this badge is?

Article about: I have never seen anything like this before. It is obviously Luftwaffe, but what else is it? It almost looks like a ship with a mast. I wish I could post a larger foto. Thanks for any help.

That means Sea Battle Pin/badge. Was it awarded very often?

Hi Bob, this is yet another controversial one. Again designed but not made in WW2. But this one looks to be minus the swastika so maybe a post war Vets peice.

    Cheers, Ade.

I guess that is why i never have seen one before? I wonder why they made a 1957 pin if they never awarded it. That makes no sense at all.

Hi Bob, it may be that some of these were awarded "on paper" only. I cannot recall now if they were for sure though, but it is a thought.

    Cheers, Ade.
