NCO's could also wear this on the Ausgehroch (and the Waffenrock). An old picture of one I used to own, though it is a 1st pattern flatwire eagle.

Jerry the eagle in question isn't like the one on my summer tunic, which we were discussing about the other day?

The thread starter is like yours whilst the one I posted is a 1st pattern, though it is mounted on a badge cloth backing fabric. The one I posted is the same as this unattached example from my collection, plus another 1st pattern of a different colour and a 2nd pattern similar to yours, though your example has a long next more like the 1st pattern eagles and might be a transitional variation, with 2nd pattern colours and weave but first pattern long neck.

    Hello,
Concerning the Hoheitsabzeichen that opened this thread, the wear of it on the Feldbluse by NCOs was not allowed, but as usual many of them used to do it, especially when talking about the walking out dress...
The hoheitsabzeichen meant for EM/NCOs Waffenrock is the top right one shown by Bond in post #13 (the one placed underneath is a variant)
    Thanks
