Default Army Hauptmann's Tunic, Knight's Cross recipient?

Hello, this tunic is for sell on a certain dealers site, and although I'm not that interested in obtaining it, certain aspects of the tunic has caused me to become intrigued with it. My question is, would this tunic been owned by a Knights cross recipient? I ask due to the two metal hooks which are attached to the back of the collar. They do appear to of been there for quite sometime, but even so, is that definitive proof the owner was indeed awarded the Knights cross? Looking forward to all opinions, and, as always, thank you for your participation and views. I am posting this as I think it will make for a interesting discussion, hopefully.

I think it is possible. I like the age to where they have sat.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thank you all for the comments thus far. In regards to the above statement, that is something which completely slipped my mind, but I assume, that too, is very possible, if not just as likely. Well done sir. Now, other than the mentioned awards, any other theories on what its use could've been for? Or do you think it's undoubtably for said awards, case closed? Thanks guys.

Stuka, I, too, find this private tailored tunic to be of a fine quality. This is the main reason that caused myself to become interested in it somewhat. In fact, I'm starting to think I may want to purchase it.

Indeed Stuka, the only reason for my reservation was that I was considering the tunic below, too, and I was not positive on what exactly the clips on the back collar where for. I also like the shape of the tunic below much more, and the piping gives this one a little someone extra, as well.(I know that's not the best of reasons.) But nonetheless, it is not an easy decision. May come down to the coin toss.

    Both are nice!
But the infanterie walking out dress(last pic) will be much easyier to replace then the first one....
