    Default Austrian M43 cap

    Hello guys!

I bought this cap from a second hand clothes shop. I have never seen this tricolor (orange-red-white) on a cocade before. I think this cap a post war cap, but the linerband made of leather, like the WWII pieces. What do you think? What kind of cap is this? Little bit distorted...

    Thank you!

Thank you, but what the tricolor stands for?

These are the colors of Carinthia (Kärnten), which is part of Austria.

Carinthia is known for the alps, and so I think it is a cap from an alpine club or something like that. It's not from the austrian military and so definately civilian.
