Re: Breast Eagle? Cap eagle?
It is a gold Navy officer breast eagle.
Interesting pin arrangement that I haven't seen
before so I can't say as to it's being original or not.
Regards, Steve.

Re: Breast Eagle? Cap eagle?
Hi Kevin, welcome to the forum!
It is totally original, however on my monitor it looks silver, which if that is the case, it would make it Heer and not Kreigsmarine. For wear as a breast eagle on the white pre war summer tunic.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Breast Eagle? Cap eagle?
Hi, as has been said an original army/heer removable eagle for the white summer tunic. Looks to have an M in a diamond on the back, which is the makers mark, for J.C. Maedicke, Berlin.
Good original item, but not rare or very valuable, see them for £50-80.
