Look's like a late war Heer Panzer or Stug Leutnant's Splinter pattern wrap.
The black Waffenfarbe is pioneer though. So may-be Stug crew.
If it's good it's super cool.

Thanks Dave, the shoulder boards are very heavily oxidized.

Non standard field made item. Based upon the HBT summer working uniform.

Getting something like this with direct provenance is the only way I would buy.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hi Ade,
This is the image I based my comment on at work today. In hindsight I guess "wrap" was a confusing discription as it could have meant "the classic Panzer wrap" as opposed to the "working jacket".I should'nt have been so vague.

IIRC the Germans at one point got hold of vast quantities of Italian camo and made smocks and caps out of this material.
I realize, that the jacket in the OP is not of this Italian camo pattern, but it just goes to show, that not all genuine items were made according to a regulation manual cut in stone from higher up.
But as the background is sketchy, only direct provenance will do for an item such as this, as mentioned by Ade.

Hang on a min................................ Just looked at the shoulder boards: these are Waffen SS Infantry. They are white with the black SS underlay.

    Cheers, Ade.
