I cannot help on the marks. But the ring looks like a good period peice. But great care has to be taken when buying rings.

this is my first ring but what i normally do whit rings is surching a repro look a like didnt found one that looks like this
and al the repro`s are made out of 1 piece and this one had 3 pieces furtunatlly it has 2 now because 1 eagle or swas is lost
but that doesnt irritates me
i`ll get a beer now for phil i think he`s pist of what i ment as a joke above your reaction

I'm no expert but I believe the 800 is a decimal silver standard mark meaning this is a silver ring of .800 purity. The C2B is perphaps a silver hallmark representing the maker or place of origin, rather than a code? Try this link for more info on silver hallmarks:
