Re: Collar litzen
Hi René, I have looked, but I am at a bit of a loss to explain them. Are they on a Heer tunic?
Cheers, Ade.

Modifications I have done
-eagle replacement
-Majors infantry boards
I'm stumped overall on this one
Thanks

But wartime drill tunics were cut in the pattern of the old Rock style, and that's what it looks like to me -- a Drillich work tunic.
The litzen are Navy Coastal Artillery officer Kragenspiegel, which of course, doesn't match with the Heer buttons, eagle and shoulder boards. Maybe it's a late war CA drill tunic when they would use army stock, and then someone later added the wrong shoulder boards and eagle -- or maybe a Heer tunic and someone added the wrong collar tabs?
Can you tell up close whether the eagle and tabs look originally applied?
Best regards,
---Norm
P.S. the right collar tab is missapplied rotated 180 degrees.
