Collar tab id help please.

I know it's not a very good pic i.e. not colour, but I'm try to id the tabs. The infills are quite dark so I can tell it's not infantry as they where usually white infills.

Any ideas.

Shoulder tabs or lack of seem to be standard uniform.

Very hard to say the colour given it is a B&W image. These standard Heer Litzen might be Artillery red or even Pioneer black.

As a conscripted pole serving in France in 1942-3, Cassel, Saint Malo and Normandy, it could be artillery. Not sure about pioneer, please explain, not heard of that one.

Pioneer = Engineers.

Could have been a pioneer then, bugger. I'll try and do some more digging around.
