    Hello,
that's a serious restoration project...you might need a magician...more seriously, you have two options here : put back the insignia that were on it when it left the factory or try to enhance the look with prewar or early war insignia. The M42 HBT tunic had the same insignia applied on it than the woolen tunic. They are the M40 Litzen and breast eagle, both woven in mouse grey thread on a Feldgrau backing. If you choose the second option, you can make what you want. IMO you should apply salty insignia. You also need shoulderstraps loops and buttons. Are the sleeves shortened ?

    Hello JPhilp,

Many thanks for your fast reply,

I am happy to see that is a original one,

Yes, I have seen the "sleeves shortened" ... Sad....
I would like to find the salty insignias like this tunic, for a total great restoration, but it's not easy for sure...

a other question please, the SS soldier had this same model or not also ?

the Volques Tectosages was a Celtic people in south of France in the past right ? ( maybe Toulouse ? )

    thanks
    Sebastien.

that's right Sebastien, the Volques Tectosages started to built my hometown in 800 BC. Nice place situated on the Garonne river, close to the Pyrénées mountains chain, the Atlantic ocean and the Mediterrannean sea.

As i'm mostly interested in Heer garments, i can't help you with the WSS issue, sorry.
