amazing waffenrock! Really a beautiful set up.
Interestingly the Brian Davis was the first book I ever bought, maybe in 1984, and it was known amongst collectors as "the Gospel". It is still an excellent book
You may find a cheap second hand copy on amazon

Ive just checked the print date on my copy, its 1977, and I am still using it. It is one of the first reference books that I got and, if memory serves right, I got it for reference for a history project at grammar school.

    Regards etc

PS: While on the subject of reference books. Does anyone remember the "Blandford Colour Series" of books. I have 4 of them from the 1970s/early '80s.
Although I do have one of them that is a 1969 edition!

Thankyou everyone for your comments bout the waffenrock, it's taken its time getting all the right bits for it but I've had expert guidance along the way. Think I might get a different ribbon bar without the ek2 ribbon on now tho. Cheers again and I'm looking forward to getting my Brian Davis book thru the post!

Hi Ian, I most certainly do. I still have the 1977 edition of "Army uniforms of World War 2". The info in it is still valid today. All the colour plates were based upon original WW2 photos.

    Cheers, Ade.
