Thanks Michael for the kind words. The pioneer waffenrock belonged to an Oberstleutnant who originally began his military career with the Austrian army. He served with Gebirgspioneerbatallion 83. Unfortunately don't have any info on the infantry waffenrock as to prior owner etc.

99.99% of the items we collect have no trackable history so even having this little tidbit of information is good.

I love waffenrocks. I think this uniform is really one piece of art.....I have dreamed to own one for years, and I have purchased my (first) one (artillery) last year.....
