    Mark,

A good discussion on WAF with a few others:

Us and them - and after all were only ordinary men. Me, and you - God only knows its not what we would choose to do. Forward he cried from the rear, and the front rank died, and the general sat and the lines on the map moved from side to side.

Thanks William. Good link showing the brushed cotton (Italian 'olona' material) with triangulated sewn tropical eagle and litzen as well as the typically seen zig-zag sewn tropical breast eagle....

Please correct me if i am wrong, but what i know is that when a tunic is partially lined it is a tropical one. Summer tunics have no lining at all.

Hi MArk thanks. So do you agree with the above statement about the partial lining?
Here is my KM tunic. Also partially lined but in a different way. This is a very early, transitional tunic. Note the back flaps.

    Ah...
But here we are in different territory. KM, LW and heer tunic patterns are quite dissimilar so I believe we should not compare them.
