deutscher volkssturm wehrmacht armband authenticity

Hi everyone,

I have a chance to purchase a deutscher volkssturm wehrmacht armband from someone via Craigslist. I do not have much experience in purchasing memorabilia from WWII and I was wondering if there were things to look for to tell if it is original or a fake.

Also they are asking for $55 for it, and from looking at other sites, they have asked for around $75-$80 for the same armband (not sure if they ever sold any for this price), so would this be a fair price?

Looks good to me from what I can see in the photos.
$50.00 is a good price.

Thanks SteveR, was there anything in particular that you looked for to tell authenticity in this item? It would be helpful to know just in case I spot any other items like this.

50 Dollars is an excellent price for an original one, but in my opinion these photos havent enough quality for that forum members could give an professional opinion. You need close ups, and quality detailed photos of the stiches, etc....
I wouldnt buy anything based on the quality of these photos.
