Hi reidii, welcome to the forum!
The Flottenkriegsabzeichen or Highs Seas Fleet badge looks good. Maker is Rudolf Souval of Vienna.
The insignia on the Luftwaffe cap is certainly bad, but the cap itself might be OK. Can you show some pics of the cap interior please?
There is no better resource than the forum. There is no book on fakes except one published many years ago which is now grossly out of date.
