    This was done during the period so likely to be good as I doubt the conversion would increase the value of the Dutch tunic.

    Yes i now Jerry but if i buy this one i leave the jacket in this state otherswise i am affraid i destroy things.

    Hello,

    The Heer used converted tunics from a lot of different nations. Dutch tunics in their original state are highly sought after. This is a very nice period conversion of a Dutch tunic. It would look great with proper period insignia!! Nice find.

    Indeed, you would to have to leave it as it is. I mean't that no one these days would convert a dutch tunic to german spec so it must have been period done.

    As Fred mentions, the untouched dutch tunic would be quite desirable these days. I had the chance to buy a pre war Dutch officers tunic from a cyclists unit many years back for a very sensible price, god I wish I had done the deal as now it would be worth a tidy sum I think.
