    Thanks for the positive comments everyone.

    The dealer who sold this to me is handling a fellow collectors estate. None of us
    who knew Dick ever imagined his collection was so large - all neatly packed
    away in closets and cardboard boxes - many antique pistols, rifles,
    swords, badges, medals, etc.

    He was in his late 70's. I did not know him all that well, but was fortunate
    to have helped Dick in small ways over the past 10 years or so by
    authenticating a few items for him, but sadly, he passed away
    several months ago of cancer. It's a shame to see all his
    treasures being split up.

    One day our own collections will be divided, shared, or sold off too,
    and it reminds me of how very short our time is
    here on this earth.........
