Hi chaps! Quite new to Shoulderboards so would appreciate your opinion. What do you think of this shoulderboard? Is it correct that the 5 stands for 5th Fallshirmjäger-regiment?

What would the value be for this single shoulder, since it's an auction and I need a roof.

Doesn't anyone have anything to say? What I can see is that the backside looks quite roughly out-cut, but my experience is low so any help would be appreciating.

I would pass on this one. Overall the construction quality is just not there.

Thanks Ade! Do you think the metal parts could be original as for good spare-parts? I mean if it ends really sheap.

Hi Al, yes, they are original.

The problem with shoulder boards is they are not hard to make up. Take a worn and mothed greatcoat and you can make a lot of shoulder boards out of it......However it takes a lot of skill to get the sewing straight and applying waffenfarbe and tress is harder than many people first think.
