Hi it looks ok to me , the German Paras also used some of these and can be seen wearing them in wartime photos
some wartime photos show also this type of garment worn by some Panzergrenadiere in Italy in 43 or 44

Nice mountain troopers wind Anrok my dad's original 94 infantry history book has a photo captioned "Captured SS troopers in courtyard of old castle" from the 6th SS mountain division they were fighting near Zerf Germany about half of them are wearing these. Nice original one. timothy
