Article about: Hello, I inherited my collection of WW2 memorabilia about 5 years ago (some items earlier) from my grandfather. Each piece was directly brought back to the U.S. by my grandfather at the end

    Ha, it's all good Ian; no worries. Opinions are all I desire. I would have them appraised if I wanted actual FMVs, instead of taking the time to take pictures, post threads, etc.

    Very nice helmets! No you better not use any conditioner, preserver or anything! Just keep the helmets out of sunlight, free of bugs and in normal environment /neither too much moisture, nor too dry air, just normal/. There is no need of chemicals and most chemicals would have a rather bad effect on the leather over time!

    nice flight helmets,,,i have some of those myself,,,i use Pecard Leather Conditioner on mine,,,this is the stuff museums use so i believe it would be safe to use on yours as well....
