    Definitely put together; the cap eagle and cockade do not belong on that epaulette.

    I agree. It looks to be a fantasy item. Original concept however...

    Probably Vet done, adding cap insignia to a shoulder board, though what that originated on I don't know.

    Kinda cool item, if Vet done.

    The cap eagle and wreath/cockade looks original, IMO, and the shoulder board looks well old, so I think it is original as well, though I don't know what it was for. If the price is good, it's worth getting. You see Vet added insignia on other items, often seen on pistol holsters etc....I have a map case that used to have a Luft cap eagle and a rank pip attached and also the name of the Canadian who took it home (as well as the name and units of the original owner).
