    I've seen rain capes before. The examples I have seen were identified as Eastern European - Bulgaria, Hungary. I will defer to those more knowledgeable. NH

    Thanks - I had a feeling it is Bulgarian and sold as German. There is more and more Bulgarian items sold as WWII German.
    Looking for following WWII German items:

    I have never seen any type of German wartime item like this don't mean its not possible but I too would lean towards some Eurpeon country's type you may be right Buligara or something Japanese had a similar one but this is of the wrong color and construction IMO. I have never seen a Japanese one that didn't have a box with writing Japan and marks in it. timothy
